The device features ResMed's iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support) technology, which helps maintain a target level of alveolar ventilation according to individual therapy requirements. Its intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) provides backup breaths when needed, while optional AutoEPAP automatically adjusts expiratory pressure to help maintain upper airway patency in supported iVAPS configurations.
The Lumis 150 VPAP ST also incorporates Vsync technology for leak management, TiControl for inspiratory time control, and adjustable trigger and cycle sensitivity settings to support synchronization between the patient and the ventilator.
