The ResMed Lumis 100 ST BiPAP Machine is a non-invasive ventilation device designed to support patients with respiratory insufficiency who require breathing assistance. It delivers two levels of positive airway pressure—higher pressure during inhalation (IPAP) and lower pressure during exhalation (EPAP)—to support comfortable and effective breathing.
The Lumis 100 ST offers multiple therapy modes, including CPAP, Spontaneous (S), Timed (T), and Spontaneous/Timed (ST), along with PAC mode. These modes allow healthcare professionals to configure respiratory support according to the patient's prescribed treatment requirements.
Equipped with ResMed's Vsync technology, the device helps maintain therapy delivery despite mask leaks. TiControl and adjustable trigger and cycle sensitivity settings support synchronization between the patient's breathing and the machine. The ramp function gradually increases pressure to the prescribed level, while ramp down can help ease the transition out of therapy.
The machine also supports remote therapy monitoring through AirView, subject to connectivity and service availability. An optional HumidAir heated humidifier can help reduce dryness and nasal discomfort. With its compact design and user-friendly controls, the ResMed Lumis 100 ST is suitable for prescribed respiratory support in home-care and clinical settings.
